Fried Rice And Manchurian



LET'S MAKE ONE OF THE MOST FAVORITE DELICACY ALL AROUND THE WORLD!!!


INGREDIENTS


Fried Rice
  • 2 cups rice
  • 1/2 cup french beans- thinly sliced into diagonal pieces
  • 1/2 cup carrot cut into thin long strips
  • 1 cup chopped spring onion whites
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 chopped spring onion greens
  • Salt to taste
Manchurian
For the vegetable balls:
  • 3 cups finely chopped cabbage
  • 1 1/4  cup  carrot grated
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 2 tablespoon cornflour
  • 4 tablespoon all purpose flour
  • 3-4 garlic cloves
  • 1 green chilly finely chopped
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper powder
  • Oil for frying
For the Sauce :
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green chillies
  • 1/2 cup minced onions
  • 1/2 tablespoon spring onions green
  • 1+1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil

PROCEDURE

  • Firstly wash and soak the rice in water for 10 mins , and set it to cook while you can make the Manchurian. .
  • To make the vegetable Manchurian balls, mix the cabbage, carrots, onion, 1 teaspoon salt, all purpose flour and cornflour, green chilies, garlic and pepper powder. Knead it till it comes together to form a sticky mixture. If you feel it is too dry, add a little water. Let it sit for 5 minutes and then divide it into 15 parts and make balls  rolling them in your hand.
  • Heat sufficient oil in a wok, and fry the balls till rusty brown. Drain on an absorbent paper.
  • Now for the sauce, heat some oil in a pan and fry the garlic. Add the green chilies, onions, and spring onion greens and stir fry over high flame till the onions are translucent. Oh, I love the aroma of the garlic and onions fried together.
  • Mix the cornflour in 2 cups of water and add it to the pan along with the soy sauce, and stir till a thick gurgling sauce is ready!
  • Take it off the flame and just before serving, add the vegetable balls in the sauce and garnish with spring onion greens.
  • Now for the fried rice :
  • To keep the grains of the cooked rice separate,  spread it on a wide plate and allow it to cool. Drizzle some salt and soy sauce over the cooked rice.
  • Heat oil in a pan, and stir fry the vegetables over high flame for about 5-6 minutes, till the vegetables soften. Then gently add the rice to the pan, being careful to not break the rice grains.

Mix well, and cover for 2 minutes, and the colorful mix vegetable fried rice is done!

No Bread Meatballs



TIME FOR SOME NON-VEG;)



INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 c. breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley, plus more for garnish
  • salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 c. marinara
  • 10 slices provolone
  • 1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan


PROCEDURE


  •  In a large bowl, combine ground beef, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs and parsley. Season with salt and pepper, then mix until just combined.
  • Form into 12 evenly sized balls. In a large pan over medium-high heat, heat oil. Add meatballs to a single layer and sear on all sides until a nice crispy crust develops, about 2 minutes per side.
  • Pour marinara over the meatballs and stir until the meatballs are fully sauced. Simmer for 10 more minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Place 2 to 3 meatballs on one slice of provolone. Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley and fold over provolone to make a sandwich.

Vegetarian Noodles


LET'S MAKE SOME CHINESE TODAY ;)



INGREDIENTS


  • One full cake of Chinese noodles
  • 2 Tb rice bran oil
  • Medium pieces of soybean curd(8-10)
  • Vegetables raw and cut(carrot, capsicum, peas. cauliflower)
  • 1 Tb brown sugar
  • 2 Tb soya sauce
  • 1 and a half cup water


PROCEDURE


  • Boil water in a pan and noodles to it until they turn soft. Then drain the water and keep the noodles aside.
  • In another pan, heat the oil and add pieces of soybean curd. Fry them until brown
  • Now add vegetables and saute them.
  • Next, add noodles, brown sugar and soy sauce. Keep stirring until all the ingredients are mixed properly.

Pizza Fries



HOW ABOUT COMBINING TWO OF YOUR FAVOURITE SNACKS?
LET'S BEGIN!!!



INGREDIENTS


  • 500 gm cooked french fries
  • 1 tablespoon Italian herbs(oregano or basil, chilli flakes)
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni
  • Basil leaves


PROCEDURE 

  • Take cooked fries and add Italian herbs, garlic powder and salt to it.
  • Mix it well.
  • Take a springform tin and put fries in it.
  • Add pizza sauce on top of it 
  • Garnish it with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni and basil leaves
  • Bake it in oven for 10 minutes at 180'C/350'F
